SENIOR CITIZEN CENTRE
The Mission established a senior housing center to allow the seniors to maintain their sense of independence and dignity which they would otherwise lose. The seniors are providing the academic, mentoring, and vocational instruction to the children in the school and the orphanage. They also been able to quench their spiritual thirst through the discourse or “SATSANG” everyday and practice meditation through their respective “Art of Life and Art of Living” under a spiritual guidance.
The senior home is one storied building with individual rooms for the seniors with beds, bedding and furniture. This facility also has common room, community kitchen with freeze, generator, and water filters. The Center has a community garden for the seniors to engage themselves in gardening. Presently, Mission is planning the construction of the 1st floor of the senior center to accommodate more seniors.
